The Product

A botanical concentrate, built for professional use.

A biodegradable, neem-based botanical insecticide supplied as a high-yield concentrate — diluting roughly 1:100 to 1:400 with clean water. PCPB-registered in Kenya and manufactured in Germany.

What it is

A botanical active, derived from neem.

The concentrate is built on a botanical active derived from the neem tree (Azadirachta indica) — a plant-based approach to pest management developed for professional and commercial operators rather than the retail shelf.

BEDO Africa's insecticide works through a botanical mode of action rather than a single synthetic chemistry. Because it acts on pests through a plant-derived pathway, it helps slow the development of resistance that can build against conventional single-target products over repeated seasons — a practical consideration for operators managing the same fields, stores or facilities year after year.

The product is biodegradable and formulated to leave low residue, breaking down into harmless components after application. That profile makes it suitable for use in and around ecologically sensitive areas, and for programmes where operators need to manage pests without the persistence associated with harsher chemistries. It is a professional-grade tool, supplied for commercial application by trained users, distributors and institutions.

The defining attributes below are stated plainly, because they are the ones a procurement officer, agronomist or facilities manager can verify and rely on.

Concentrate economics

High yield, delivered as a concentrate.

Because the product ships as a concentrate rather than a ready-to-use dilution, buyers move and store far less liquid for the same treated area — which changes the arithmetic on freight, storage and cost per hectare.

Low
Residue after application

One litre of concentrate, diluted within the range above, prepares a substantial working volume — which is why volume buyers see a lower landed cost per treated hectare than they would with pre-diluted products. Less water is shipped, less warehouse space is committed, and each delivery goes further in the field. Exact yield depends on the target pest, crop or site and the dilution selected within the stated range; the Technical Data Sheet sets out the guidance for each use case.
